This and that

I got an email saying that the Game On! Diet book had been cancelled and I'd be issued a refund.  So I went to the store to buy it, they had one copy and it happened to be on hold for someone else.  I texted my BFF and told her that I thought that it was an omen that I shouldn't do it.

The boys and I met with friends and went downtown this evening to see the falls.  We walked the park, rode the carousel and then had dinner at Chili's.  I REALLY wanted to order their buffalo chicken salad, like really wanted to.  Instead I chose from the lighter menu and had the Sweet and Spicy Chicken.  It came with steamed broccoli and rice.  It was actually really good and the whole meal was 670 calories as opposed to 990 calories for the salad.  I wasn't stuffed when I left and it felt good to make a healthy choice!

I hit all three goals with my bodybugg today!

Oh and my shins are still killing me...

The hubs comes home tomorrow so my posts will be more sporadic.  We have Ryan's party on Saturday and then hope to go camping in the new trailer next week.  TTFN!

  1. Maybe you have more than one BFF (and that's okay if you do), but I didn't get a text. That totally sux about the book! Maybe it is a sign.

Enjoy your time with the family these next couple days!

  2. Hi Kelly! Do you have a mac computer? because you could download a kindle app for it (or if you have an ipod touch or something?) and then download the book. I did that before I got a hard copy. Or you could always buy my hard copy. : ) Hope you find a way to get the book, because I'd love it if you joined us. And actually, not everyone has read the book that is playing. It's not essential, as long as you have a good understanding of the rules that I have written in my blog posts about it. Although, it is a pretty funny book, so not to sucky to read. Jenny
