Darn bee

I haven't been able to hit the pavement because of my toe. I stepped on a bee in the grass at a picnic on Saturday an the darn thing stung me. It is still swollen, feels bruised and itches like crazy. It's uncomfortable to walk on to say the least. I'm going to soak it in epsom salt again tonight to see if that helps. I did end up cutting branches in our back yard and hauled them to the truck in the front for about an hour, it was a great upper arm workout. The weather was beautiful for a workout today too. Hope to get back to it tomorrow!

Can you see my sausage toe?!  The white stuff is anti itch cream which didn't help.  You can also see how red it is even below my toe.  I officially hate bees!

Ouch!!!

I procrastinated our walk because of sore legs and laziness. The boys were outside playing so I asked zack if he wanted to go for a walk, thinking he'd say no but he said yes. I completed W1D2 and it was a piece of cake! I felt great when we got home so I did some more kettle.bell exercises and just focused on my arms. Felt great!

My legs are super sore today! I thought my arms would feel it too but they didn't.

Sooo excited!!!

I am posting this here until I can officially Talk about it. My BFF told me the best news today. She called to tell me this...

Omg, I could not be more excited!!!! I had tears of joy both times I talked to her. I was even doing the happy dance in my kitchen! She goes back in for blood work on Monday. I'm praying hard that her numbers increase over the weekend!!

Eek, I'm so excited!!

I'm back!

On our walk tonight I decided to start C25K over again. It really felt good to get back at it.  Zack rode his bike the entire way, it was nice.
Ryan kept himself entertained
C25K W1D1 done (again)

When we got home I decided to break out the kettle.balls.  I put in the Jillian.Michaels video on how to do the moves and away I went, for 25 minutes.  My right arm feels like it got more of a workout than my left.  We'll see tomorrow.

When the boys saw me working out they insisted on doing it too.  I love to see their desire to exercise but it scares me to do it with them in our living room.  It was cute for a photo opt though.

"I work out"

Zack was serious about the kettle.balls!

I ate like crap today so I'm hoping the workouts will help some.  Gah!

I'm contemplating another 10 day cleanse.  I had told myself that as soon as the hubby left then I'd start one but I didn't order it in time.  I'm afraid to do it now because by the time I finish then he'll be home again.  So I'll probably wait until next month.

It feels good to be back at it.  My oldest will start Kindergarten on Sept 4th and although I'm terribly sad I'm also kind of excited.  I'll be able to do my workouts while he's at school and have more of a routine.

Well, hello!

It's been a while!  We are back from our vacation to Nebraska to see lots of family and friends.  My mom brought her Z.umba workout videos but we didn't do them one single time.  We were constantly on the go and one day spent the whole day walking the zoo.  I tried to be good with my eating and drinking habits but wasn't perfect.  Six days in the car total (3 each way) was killer though.

I weighed myself when we got back and was at piece with only gaining 3 lbs while on vacation. About a week after we got home I weighed myself and was down to 221 which I was thrilled about.  Shark week hit and is done now and I weighed in at 223 this morning.  I'm so tired of the up and down of a few pounds.

Now that we're back to some normalcy I'm getting back to working out.  I miss it.

I went to Z.umba last night.  I was in a funk and tried to shake it the best I could but couldn't totally.  However, I sweat up a storm and got a good work out for not having done nothing in a few weeks.
