We joined!

I did it, I joined the YMCA!  We checked out the daycare before joining and the boys loved it.  Zack is SO excited to be able to go swimming and do swim lessons.  honestly, I am a little nervous about going.  I had thought that I’d never had a gym membership (other than Curves) but I was wrong.  Shortly after we were married I joined a gym near my house with my friend L.  We did a good job of going for a while, Jim even went a few times, and then it fizzled.  I’m a little nervous that that’s what’s going to happen again this time.  The Y has a ton of classes along with water exercise which I’ve never done before.  So I’m anxious go to but again, nervous.  I get 2 sessions with a personal trainer with my membership so I’m going to take full advantage of that.  I don’t think I’ll get to go this weekend but hopefully next week!  Wish me luck!

  1. I think the YMCA is a great option for you! It's family friendly -- not only do you benefit from group exercise courses, the kiddos benefit from swimming class and all the other family fun.
