Month in review

The hubs left today.  Sad smile  I feel horrible for kind of being glad on one hand.  I’m anxious to get back into my routine!  I know he’d understand if he heard me say that.  I was so wrapped up in his departure that I forgot to weigh in so I’ll do it tomorrow.

While he was home I was able to get in actual exercise, one day…one stinking day!  I had high hopes of reaching my goal this month but am now wondering if I set it too high?  Saturday the 30th I was going to go for a late 2-3 mile walk/jog and just before I changed my clothes I started getting an upset tummy and was in the restroom all evening.  I was beyond irritated.  Then I was going to get up Sunday morning before the boys and finish the rest of my goal miles before we went boating.  But after spending all night in the restroom I opted not to go.  I pretty much gave up!  I sucked!  The hubs was being very supportive and encouraged me to go Saturday evening and then when I told him I wasn’t going Sunday morning he told me to not give up but I did.  We didn’t just sit on our butt the whole time he was home, in fact we were ALWAYS on the go but no focused exercise except for my one walk.  I felt like my eating habits were a bit better than last month but I sucked on the water intake, I mean big time!  Then not to mention, my TOM arrived early…again!  WTF?!

Not a bad month!  On average I worked out 3 times a week.  I was SOO close to my activity goal of 45 miles for the month, just 5.42 short.  Even though I didn’t hit my goal I am still proud of myself.

Our activity challenge has ended.  I finished with a  total of 1458 minutes of work out time.  That’s over 24 hours!  Even when I was at my skinniest I don’t think I logged that much activity.  I love the way this has pushed me to get moving and even more so, I love that I had my BFF by my side (virtually, though I wish it were in person too).  Thank you Sarah for doing this with me!!

  1. You did awesome this month. I am glad you're able to focus on the positives -- all the things you did accomplish! You'll get em this month.
