Winter workout?

So, Ryan hates the daycare at the Y.  I’m dreading the upcoming winter.  I would love to keep up my jogging schedule but don’t know if it will be doable with the snow that will fly.  Our roads tend to look like this…

…not so good for jogging, with a stroller!

I might have to cancel my gym membership if Ryan doesn’t start liking it there.  One of the reasons I got it there was for the free daycare but there’s no sense in having it if I’m not using it, right?!

So I have to face the fact that I’m probably going to have to use the treadmill we have downstairs.  I’ve also decided to give the 30day shred another go, wish me luck!!!  So I came across this treadmill workout on pinterest and might give it a shot.

My therapist (yes, I see one about once a month and LOVE it) is also a yoga instructor and has offered to show me a few moves when I see her next and I’m kind of excited!  I’m sure I could probably YouTube it but am looking forward to the one on one with an actual person to make sure I’m doing it right.

Basically, I’m afraid of losing my momentum (like I did this past 10 days) over the winter and gaining all of my weight back.  I want to keep losing and hit my goals even during the winter.

Tell me friends, what do you do for a workout in the winter!?!?

  1. Do you think Ryan will adjust to the daycare if you go on a more frequent/regular basis?

It'll all work out. Sounds like you're tapping into your resources. I don't really have any other ideas -- videos at home, Wii, treadmill, maybe some strength training? You could get some resistance bands and/or weights if you don't have them already.
