All over the place post!

I had a bunch typed up and I have no idea where it went.  GRRRRR

Today was Zack's first day of 1st grade!  *Sniff*  Where does the time go?!?!!?  The excitement got to everyone and we were out of bed early.  I hate that summer has come to an end.  :(

After we came home Ryan and I decided to go for a walk around the park.  I jogged once but still don't feel like I have my mojo back.  Ryan was a trooper for being teased by the park 4 times as we walked by.  So after 2 miles I decided to quit so he could play.  It was in the low 80's but overcast so it was MUGGY!!!


 


For lunch I had a WW Spicy chicken sandwich.  Have you tried them?  I'm not sure that they're worth the 5 PP.  But I paired it with some cucumbers and seems to be ok.  I'd almost rather sacrifice the 12 PP and have a Wendy's version though, way bigger and better tasting. 
I snapped this picture today and realized how desperately I need new sports bras...I swear I'm wearing one.  Hello cleavage!  I received my Moving.Comfort ones in the mail a few weeks ago.  I was disappointed when I got them though.  not because of the bras but because I ordered the wrong size!  I ordered a 38C and there is no way I'm fitting into that size soon.  So they'll have to be goal bras for now.  Ugh!


I signed up for this challenge today and already have my first entry for today's workout.  Score!  Who's with me?


Speaking of challenges and winning gift cards.  I still have not heard if I won our Biggest Loser FB challenge.  I have asked a couple of times and no response.  I just private messaged her so we'll see what she says.

Pedometer

Week one of the FB Biggest Loser Pedometer challenge is complete!  I am not sure how the others compare(will find out soon) but I got in 72,026 steps on my fitbit.  I know I had more last Tuesday but I didn't wear my fitbit since we were at the lake.  Most days this week I got over 10k steps!  We have one more week of the challenge and I've challenged myself to increase my steps.  I'm determined to win a gift card!!!  :D

Weekly weigh in: week 6

I wasn't as nervous as I usually am to weigh in tonight.  I was slightly nervous because it is Shark Week which usually means a gain.  However, I LOST 1.8 lbs!  I will take it!!!  My total weight lost is 10.8 lbs and I'm only 1.2 lbs away from my first goal.  I'm really hoping I hit it next week!!!


This week we talked about eating at restaurants which was really helpful.  We've really been trying not to eat out as much but sometimes on the weekends we can't avoid it.  On Wednesday I'm going to go out with some friends so I'll be careful during the day so I can enjoy dinner and a few beers.  No Li Brewery is a local place and I can't find nutritional info online.  I'll have to see if they have it there or else use my best judgement.  Wish me luck!

WW week 5

Thankfully I lost what I gained last week and then a bit more.  I'm happy, relieved and thankful!  It was tough having Jim home for 4.5 days and I struggled but I did it!  In our meeting we talked about what little change we're going to make for the upcoming week.  I chose to add more activity.  Starting tomorrow in my BL Challenge we're doing a pedometer challenge so it's perfect timing

My niece is staying the night with us, possibly more.  So tonight as they were playing I snuck off and got a 2 mile walk/jog in.  It was tough!  I much prefer to run in the morning!!  My legs were tight and sore and I felt like I was starting to get shin splits.  So I might try to do another in the morning before taking Zack to VBS, we'll see.

WW Week 3

I am always nervous on weigh in days.  I try to keep it real though.  I remember when I was a member years ago I'd only eat popcorn on weigh in days, not anymore.  I don't want to trick my body, I want to be completely honest.  So today I had my breakfast, a mid morning snack and a smart one for lunch.  I drank plenty of water and peed like crazy!  

I was nervous to weigh in like every other Monday this month because weekends are hard for me!  Friday night the hubs and I went to dinner and then I had way too many drinks.  Saturday I was hung over and dehydrated and then went to a BBQ at Jim's aunts house.  Then Sunday we had another BBQ at a friend's house for a birthday party.  I tried very hard to watch my portion sizes so that I could try the stuff that I wanted (aka the pasta salads).  I did a good job of staying away from sweets except for yesterdays BBQ.  

Apparently I didn't do too bad since I had a 2.6 lb loss, such a sigh of relief!  So this means I am 3.2 lbs away from my first goal of 5%.  I don't think I'll be able to get it next week since but hopefully the following weigh in.

Today was a rest day in the squat challenge and I was thankful, my legs were sore.  I got a bad charlie horse on Friday night in my left calf and it still hurts.  Tomorrow is the start of the 3 sets of 15 squats but with FIFTEEN pound weights.  Should be interesting!!

We had our second weigh in with the FB Biggest Loser Challenge and I am still in the lead!

Day 1 and another challenge

Today was challenging.  I had breakfast and then strawberries for a snack.  Then I got the phone call that one of my besties was in labor and about to have her baby girl.  I acted fast and got the boys with another friend and headed to the hospital to take pictures for her.  It just happened to be lunchtime too!  I grabbed two bananas as I was running out the door but forgot to eat them on the short drive to the hospital.  I seriously made it JUST in time!


After Olivia was out and things settled down a bit I started getting really hungry.  We all ordered food and I ordered a chef salad.  I have no idea how many points to count it as so I picked one in my app.  I came home and made a lean cuisine before darting out the door again for PTO.  When I got home I had a headache and was hungry again.  I had enough points left over so I had a beer and an ice cream bar.

I was worried I didn't eat all my points but at the end of the day I had 3 remaining.  I know I was lacking on my water though, I think that was the reason for the headache.  So it was a crazy first day but a good one.

My friend that hosted the 6 week challenge that I did 2 years ago is doing another one and this time it is 10 weeks.  There are 9 people that are doing it this time and another change is that if you gain then you have to pay in $1.  I'm hoping with WW, the squat challenge and now this one that it will kick my butt into gear!
