I lost in all areas but gained inches in my calves. Lol. I haven't taken after pics yet and not sure that I will since it wasn’t that much weight loss. I plan on doing another round of 21 DF.</p> Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-25392244153578787572015-02-16T00:04:00.000-08:002015-02-27T00:11:08.315-08:0021 Day Fix<p align="left">Well, I’m starting over AGAIN.  I got tired of BBM.  The accountability group I started fizzled and fizzled fast!  One gal was posting the workouts which was nice.  Then she stopped and I tried for a few days.  But then I gave up when everyone else did.</p> <p align="left">Yes, I am tired of starting over.  SO tired of it!  I just need to buck up and stop giving up!</p> <p align="left">Then one night I was talking to a friend and she mentioned my neighbor sells Beachbody and she was doing the 21 day fix.  She had told me about Christy’s weight loss.  I was intrigued.  </p> <p align="left">I met with Christy and she filled me in and let me look at the materials.  I loved the portion control part of it.  That is exactly what I need!  I loved that it wasn’t a lose weight fast program, even though it is only 21 days.  It teaches you how to eat and the right foods to eat.  It was similar to WW but more.</p> <p align="left">So I purchased the program and started today!  I wasn’t fully prepared but I did ok.  I still have some colors left over (you’re supposed to use them all up) but I thought it was a decent start.  The workout was intense but I loved it and can already tell I am going to be SORE!</p> <p align="center">Starting photos (oy)<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/-0eGUMfhcVlc/VPAmmM1D59I/AAAAAAAApPQ/lzJoEKP9Jyo/s1600-h/21%252520day%252520fix1%25255B2%25255D.jpg"><img title="21 day fix1" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-left: 0px; display: block; margin-right: auto" border="0" alt="21 day fix1" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/--PWIlvKkR0E/VPAmmgpOrYI/AAAAAAAApPY/PhDKm9HENVE/21%252520day%252520fix1_thumb.jpg?imgmax=800" width="184" height="244" /></a> Starting weight: 247.6 lbs</p> Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-29931895876600326742015-01-09T19:29:00.001-08:002015-01-09T19:30:52.712-08:00Shit just got real...I'm back! <br>
<br>
I can't believe it's been since Sept that I've blogged. Well, yes I kind of can. Life has been busy!!!! I had full intentions of redoing BBM 2.0 but honestly, I didn't like it. I decided to redo BBM 1.0 with some friends but then eventually threw in the towel on day 45 on Oct 20: <br><br><i>"Ladies, I suck! I am not fully committed to the challenge this time. I
feel horrible for not posting but I keep letting life get in the way. I
NEED to do the workouts but am having a hard time getting to them. So
unless something changes then I won't be posting the workouts. If
someone else wants to do it then please do!!! I hope you all are able
to get the workouts in. I'm not making any excuses come the 3.0
challenge though and I will need you guys, my accountability partners!"</i><br><br>So I let life get in the way and didn't make time for it. Then I decided to let life just get in the way, period. I didn't watch what I was eating or drinking and stopped working out regularly. I started snacking at night and not healthy choices. I was drinking more beer and wine than normal. Then the holidays came and that brought more food and sweets. It was not pretty!<br>
<br>
I knew the weight was creeping back. The batteries in my scale had died so I had no idea what I weighed. I could feel it though! I was not happy and borderline depressed about it. It affected my life more than I thought. I noticed that my seat belt in my car didn't have as much slack, something I've never worried about. I was exhausted more. And honestly it was affecting sex, something I never mentioned to Jim but I'm sure he knew. I hated the way I look. My stomach felt like it was growing by the day! I felt like I looked pregnant and I hate that!!!!<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE2rUGSGAlUzaCrzQK3en0cFjV8w4Q-5qU93Dq15H8tS2Bc26fDOg-pUqX0SkJjeGisEWGVpoN0NecB26Gsacs341C0tt1CdiVjLEgTVAyYhWgmrVnyKGXeboccOD63L1jClqRlHTkhdC0/s640/blogger-image--1927249870.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE2rUGSGAlUzaCrzQK3en0cFjV8w4Q-5qU93Dq15H8tS2Bc26fDOg-pUqX0SkJjeGisEWGVpoN0NecB26Gsacs341C0tt1CdiVjLEgTVAyYhWgmrVnyKGXeboccOD63L1jClqRlHTkhdC0/s640/blogger-image--1927249870.jpg"></a></div><br><br>SOOOO, Monday came around and I saw that it was Jan 5. The start of BBM 3.0! I decided to switch the batteries in my scale and see if it made it come on. It did! I nervously stepped on and saw 251 lbs! The HIGHEST I have ever been...ever! Shit just got real!!!! I knew it was bad but not that bad. I had a melt down! Tears, self pity, searching for motivational quotes and pictures. I texted my BFF and Mom, my two main supporters. They were great. <br><br>I decided that TODAY was the day to start over, NO EXCUSES! I can not go on like this. I want to have energy for my boys. I want to be able to keep up with them. I want to be around for a long time! <br>

<br>
I took my measurements and again, cried! After Ryan was out of school I went to Costco and stocked up on veggies. I am doing this! I texted Jim and told him that this entire week I'm eating chicken and veggies and that's exactly what I planned to do! This is currently one of my favorite meals...Chicken, roasted brussel sprouts and this rice that I found at walmart. Yummy!<br>

He is always a great support and I really don't give him enough credit. <br><br>We had our pictures taken at the end of November. I really wanted a nice photo of the two of us. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So I started 3.0 on Monday and have done the workouts every day. I've eaten really well all week and have drank at least a gallon of water each day. I have been logging everything on MyFitnessPal. I am feeling good about it!! We did go for pizza last night but I just had salad and one slice of pizza. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So here we go AGAIN! I don't know how often I'll get to blog, it seems like I never get the time anymore. But I will check in here and there for my accountability for myself. I WILL do this this time!!!</div>

text-align: left;">
When Lyndsey asked if I wanted to do a 10 mile bike ride with her, I was nervous! I felt good after biking 7 miles the other day but three more seemed intimidating. But, I was up for the challenge!!! She picked me up this morning and off we went!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyCW8Q4_AxmA2vtJ1BGvDr-n3MAKvoll5NIfn9aJKi_2ueqKpKVjLvqB18htVpAZeSpsTXvYO6EQNuLrPEAVDgfB4xCrZP8XQSsjK_qCE1gHNIu3tmmiXnV2Y8qLE36KaaL97WEWRw6BPF/s640/blogger-image--173684910.jpg" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lyndsey has a road bike which has much smaller tires than my mountain bike. Plus she's a freaking pro at biking! We're talking she's done a 45 mile ride!!!!! So she made this look easy! Truth is that there was a slight incline on the trail but it was relatively flat. Because of my big tires I had to pedal the whole time. It wasn't always easy and it definitely got my heart pumping! We stopped at 3 miles so I could get a drink and stretch. Then before I knew it we were at 5 miles and it was time to turn around!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Heading back was a breeze! See below, I could actually take an action shot! The 5 miles back to her car went by so fast!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We did it!!!! It really was a cool feeling to know that I biked TEN miles and I didn't die!!!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I felt pretty good afterwards. My lady parts were a bit sore but the palms of my hands hurt the worst. I think I need to raise my handle bars possibly? I thought I wasn't going to be able to walk after but much to my surprise, my legs felt good!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Lyndsey reassured me that I did great for my ride, which meant a lot coming from her! I'm looking forward to many more miles with her!</div>

I picked up a bike at a yard sale last month. I've been wanting one for a while since both boys are able to ride bikes now with no training wheels. I've gotten to ride little bits here and there, nothing too major. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today the boys and I rode 2 miles then after dinner I went for a ride by myself. I did over 5 miles! I rode down to Home Depot to return something, over to Shopko to return a shirt and pick up my sweet new helmet and then over to WinCo to get some groceries for Jim's lunch. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM5Ny3dqqLtshsO6JBM0gWBW-6Mu5G_SAojMzkRR2qK5b_NBW_hN72Lnbv4w1OThnzTPs1waiTIx4XGHgdYQEJEpxoy3UvPqbMAlLaA4S5F4o7jTg_ZnU5FZxWtf0QD_ewYgZ_CcUIkChR/s640/blogger-image--199035895.jpg" /> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The ride there was easy, it was all down hill which meant coming home was all up hill. It wasn't easy, I won't lie. But I loved the challenge and I loved that I could feel the burn in my legs. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am really starting to like biking and hope that I can do more of it!</div>

Time has flown by!!! I have done every workout except for one cardio day. Life has been incredibly busy! I can't wait for school to be done but I have a feeling it won't slow down much.<br>
<br>
The others in my accountability started out strong but we're back down to about 4 (myself included) of us that are consistently doing it daily. I'm thankful for those that have stuck it out with me. <br>
<br>
I have gained weight again. Blah! But thankfully I've lost inches! Here are my results thus far:<br>
<br>
Bust: 43.5"<span style="color: red;"> (-1.5")</span><br>
Chest: 38" <span style="color: red;">(-1.5")</span><br>
Waist: 44" <span style="color: red;">(+.5"????)</span><br>
Hips: 50.5" <span style="color: red;">(-1")</span><br>
R Thigh: 29" upper<span style="color: red;"> (-.5")</span><br>
20" lower<span style="color: red;"> (-.5")</span><br>
R Arm 14" (didn't measure on day 1)<br>
<br>
Weight: 226 lbs <span style="color: red;">(+3.4 lbs)</span><br>
<br>
I will be honest, I have not been eating that great. We have been eating out a lot since we've been on the go so much. But Jim and I talked tonight about not eating out as much and eating better. We also talked about riding our bicycles which I'm kind of excited about! I know it won't be intense since the boys will be doing it too but I think it will be fun, great exercise and a great family event.<br>
<br>
I have decided not to do a weekly weigh in. I'm trying not to obsess over the number on the scale. I will occasionally step on it because I think it does keep me accountable but just not weekly. <div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDPdFtRwWZG0F_qGWwtRdX4Rg6ArZbqDXaTQy_KGwEi5zZm3RbWxsmY2eSPI8wmECes0RA5Z7xG1dcx24MfNZ0YY1E2boEzJzr6ZLI7GuVdJefp_ftxvwNFfPXEeM6_n55U6u2OtVb1gbe/s640/blogger-image--137482609.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDPdFtRwWZG0F_qGWwtRdX4Rg6ArZbqDXaTQy_KGwEi5zZm3RbWxsmY2eSPI8wmECes0RA5Z7xG1dcx24MfNZ0YY1E2boEzJzr6ZLI7GuVdJefp_ftxvwNFfPXEeM6_n55U6u2OtVb1gbe/s640/blogger-image--137482609.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4EB83fyDVQrNZ4Dhbe9W55co3zze1uczGzVQFusMfK3gY49XWmq3mc2opLjewAaPrYZC67Xa-SJriUY2K3uO4CpmBgj_hXb9p2HisnDlnXOar0yAFsCdZPjQW8SkYRgoLm9VwUTMrgYuf/s640/blogger-image--2021668379.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4EB83fyDVQrNZ4Dhbe9W55co3zze1uczGzVQFusMfK3gY49XWmq3mc2opLjewAaPrYZC67Xa-SJriUY2K3uO4CpmBgj_hXb9p2HisnDlnXOar0yAFsCdZPjQW8SkYRgoLm9VwUTMrgYuf/s640/blogger-image--2021668379.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyz_8ISWkap_YT6vjvZIfcDU6Hhn_GfDs0JvqRAO2kDTQP6mmm8ZEtwNQBs7AEpoMTjCHaDZiY0zkUZueIYj7nljIsu007suhHDhp6JLeFB48ZZKFAF-pPcF2dD4ClHndADwm9aiMA0Ko3/s640/blogger-image-1839191114.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyz_8ISWkap_YT6vjvZIfcDU6Hhn_GfDs0JvqRAO2kDTQP6mmm8ZEtwNQBs7AEpoMTjCHaDZiY0zkUZueIYj7nljIsu007suhHDhp6JLeFB48ZZKFAF-pPcF2dD4ClHndADwm9aiMA0Ko3/s640/blogger-image-1839191114.jpg"></a></div><br></div><br></div><br></div>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-65513128994911055182014-05-05T12:40:00.000-07:002014-05-07T12:41:53.775-07:00Bikini Body Mommy Challenge 2.0 begins!Starting weight: 222.6 lbs <br />

I am still here! I am still weighing in each Thursday and doing my best to watch what I eat. I haven't gotten in a real workout though and I hate that! I haven't had time or made time. I had planned on doing the mini BBM Challenge but haven't. I am looking forward to starting 2.0 on May 5.</div>

I did not complete the last week because we went to Seattle. My ending weight was 222 lbs, which was a 3.6 lb loss. And as of my 60 day check in I lost 11 inches!<br />
<br />
I really liked the challenge and was extremely proud of myself for sticking to it for so long! There were probably only about 4 of us that stuck out the challenge in my accountability group but that's ok. I weighed 222 lb, up just a bit which I'll take since shark week started. Jim's headed out of town next week for work so I'm hoping to get back on track. This will be my starting weight from here on out. <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkRQWx43fzY6866IYr6UxUOxxu6xH66g2SG1zUKdWNoc0xQtm_RpV5pwR-XKMXeQJptO1_RB_eiPkWbJjKhlyK3T99Wx9679zmFSJrUSwAc_3vawcPgI1Nzck4RT8iwdzsQUMEIoIFR4Yh/s640/blogger-image--765795093.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkRQWx43fzY6866IYr6UxUOxxu6xH66g2SG1zUKdWNoc0xQtm_RpV5pwR-XKMXeQJptO1_RB_eiPkWbJjKhlyK3T99Wx9679zmFSJrUSwAc_3vawcPgI1Nzck4RT8iwdzsQUMEIoIFR4Yh/s640/blogger-image--765795093.jpg"></a></div><br>I have made the decision to not continue going to WW. With all the changes in our house right now I could really save the money for something else. Plus I wasn't going to the meetings and using the tools like I should've been so why pay someone $45/mo to step on their scale? <br>
<br>
I can do it at home, I've done it before. Lyndsey and I have promised to hold each other accountable. I ask that you please do that too! I'm contemplating doing it like I did 4+ years ago. Each time I would weigh in I'd pay $2 and then once I met a goal I got the money. Then maybe if I gain I could add a $1?!<br>
<br>
So here we go! Wish me luck!!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-71156273000311835112014-03-18T22:14:00.000-07:002014-05-05T23:00:00.827-07:00Nice walk!The sun was out again today and I needed to go to the bank. Good thing it was a cardio day! I decided to walk down to the bank.<br />
<br />
Ryan was loaded in the stroller and off we went. He did a great job on our way there. I did a walk and jog combo and was comfortable with my pace. Most of the way there was downhill which probably helped.<br />
<br />
We went to the bank, walked to the post office and then stopped at a new place for lunch. I tried to make the best decision and went with a wrap and half order of fries which I was supposed to share with Ryan but he hasn't been into fries lately. Sure wish I had that self control!!!<br />
<br />
We then loaded back up and headed home...uphill! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. it was definitely a slower pace than the way there but we also had a lot of stopping and going. Ryan got restless and wanted out. He then had a full on melt down about a half mile from the house. He wanted out to run but we were along a very busy street and Mommy said no.<br />
<br />
We made it back and it felt good! By the end of the day I had over 15k steps. I see myself walking more places this Spring/Summer/Fall!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-80150464276317034392014-03-14T22:22:00.000-07:002014-05-05T23:05:33.918-07:00Luck O' the Zumba: The Sequel<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I haven't done Zumba in a LONG time so I was a little nervous. The two hours went by quick and the only problem I had was with my stupid skirt creeping up. Otherwise, it was a good time!!<br />

We've had 3 consecutive days of sunshine and it's felt great!! So to take advantage of the sun, I decided to walk to WW to weigh in. Ryan sat in the stroller the whole way there which was nice. I was down .2 lbs. I was hoping for more but I'll take it!<br />

We stopped at the grocery store to have some lunch then headed back. Ryan wanted out to walk and run too. It made for a stop and go trip but it was cute to see him run.<br />

Today was semi nice outside. It started out with sunshine and then that slowly went away. After dropping the kids off at school and weighing in Ryan and I decided to do my workout outside today since it's a cardio day. <br /><br />I started off with a 1.5 mile walk around the park which was 16 min. My map.my.run app only recorded a mile though. Grrr! I'm sure it's my phone's fault, it is a piece of junk and I can't wait to get a new one...I digress. Ryan sat in the stroller the whole time and was just glad to be outside. It got a little tough because the wind picked up and the stroller acted like a sail!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUro6VrZ0YhaQbU-UKwW3n5qS0pidg3MkBe8Vk2UMtk4cNRGkNAurXsoLiNPrgPBVvPj3qYNq1uNp7TYLDM8FSuGjdFKeoO0h0iyfv66J2DXosCsIS_fF0j3ctZMO8Ae4TohvUy6nlrx4E/s1600/IMG_8045.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUro6VrZ0YhaQbU-UKwW3n5qS0pidg3MkBe8Vk2UMtk4cNRGkNAurXsoLiNPrgPBVvPj3qYNq1uNp7TYLDM8FSuGjdFKeoO0h0iyfv66J2DXosCsIS_fF0j3ctZMO8Ae4TohvUy6nlrx4E/s1600/IMG_8045.JPG" height="320" width="239" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjXNyyfY9s9MrhEBM_0qQ6PWEgLfWhPtnOfcRtdfabfvF42mFkVOsQFCpC5BthDRr5bnTrYKZg0rCnAWxHyKULdB4t7dbt6Q8LBl8ttljkmo9xk0urtVh9p7sNp5VofCsj9Rn9PTvoThA6/s1600/IMG_8049.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjXNyyfY9s9MrhEBM_0qQ6PWEgLfWhPtnOfcRtdfabfvF42mFkVOsQFCpC5BthDRr5bnTrYKZg0rCnAWxHyKULdB4t7dbt6Q8LBl8ttljkmo9xk0urtVh9p7sNp5VofCsj9Rn9PTvoThA6/s1600/IMG_8049.JPG" height="320" width="239" /></a><br /><br />He wanted to play at the park so we stopped to let him. While he played I did some of my HIIT workouts, 1 min on and 1 min rest. I did jumping jacks, irish jig, step ups on the cement curb and then step ups onto the bench, alternating legs. I'm sure the people at the park or living around it got a good laugh. Ryan took pictures of me for proof. I hate my stomach in them but I'm keeping it real!<br />

I weighed myself this morning and knew it wouldn't be good. Shark week is on it's way and I can feel it. I was UP 2.2 lbs. :/ Was really hoping to hit my 20 lbs again but not this week. <br />
<br />
Today is also the 60 day mark of the BBM Challenge. I can't believe it's been 60 days! Here are my measurements:<br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Have I told you how much I love this challenge? I am not a fan of the workout this week. It is tough!!! I pushed myself harder today and killed it! I was hot, sweaty and red afterwards! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I plan on doing it again after this one ends. Who's with me? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
My accountability group that I started has fizzled some and it bums me out. I realize people are busy, get sick and get burnt out but I need the accountability! If I can do it, so should they! (Right?) There is one gal who is more consistent with the workouts with the others but other than that, I am the only one that has done it everyday (with the exception of one day). We're down to about 4 out of 15 of us that are "sticking with it".</div>

Like I mentioned above, I have stuck to the schedule and completed everyone. Up until this weekend. I didn't get in my cardio day on Sat, was doing to do it Sun and then ended up not doing it. I still feel horrible but I think my body was telling me that it needed the break. I am extremely proud of myself. This is the longest that I've stuck with a plan, especially 6 days a week!!! I can feel and see the results and I love it.Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-11406360318174016682014-03-02T23:08:00.004-08:002014-03-06T08:09:43.585-08:00Smaller jeansI wore my size 16 jeans today...all day! I tried them on this morning, like I have many times in the past few months. I expected them to be slightly uncomfortable like usual. However, when I put them on they weren't! It was a nice feeling!<br />

I didn't stress it and actually didn't even step on the scale before leaving the house, which usually doesn't happen. I was happy to see that I had lost 2 lbs! I was kinda bummed that I was .2 lbs away from my 20 lbs again but I didn't dwell on it. <br /><br />I was surprised but happy. We went to dinner on Thursday but like I said, I was careful with my meal. Then we went out to dinner on Friday and had beers. But I did get back on track mostly Mon-Thur. I'm just hoping it doesn't sneak up on me next week. <br /><br />Like I've said, there are going to be lots of changes in our household soon. I did NOT get that job at the CU but she said I'm at the top of her list for anything that comes up. I've applied for many others. It's getting beyond stressful!<br /><br />I am also thinking about canceling my WW membership. I will still follow the plan and continue to weigh in on Thursdays. But it is one cost that I can for sure cut out. Going to think about it a bit more and then decide. <br /><br />We're on day 54 of my BBM Challenge and I'm still hanging in there and liking it!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-38681875610384066422014-02-21T11:40:00.001-08:002014-02-21T11:42:15.491-08:00Weekly Weigh In/ Day 47I weighed in this morning and was up .4 lbs. Not a big deal but I'm kicking myself because I was down more yesterday. I hate how it fluctuates day to day. However, thinking back I had beer two days this week and ate out a couple of times. That's probably why. Not a big deal though.<br>
<br>
today is day 47 of the challenge and I've finished the workout. It was 4 workouts and you do them three times. On the last set of lunges my left leg gave out on 16/20 and I fell right to my butt. Thank goodness I was at home and not at a gym. I decided to not finish the last 4 and rest until the next exercise. All is good! I pushed myself though and am now a sweaty mess!!<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEqcXtU62CtXOKcTh8Pmr50BUGTiicV9vMapAMeBzM9tZGkonQ9O72ZeKmhEd20KJuZdscPjs-9Kd-Hd028J9zG2heMhaPRxQavy3N5gQn50Xx0XFc0PF-2VVRFBgEB1gnLczsNK4ZUBoR/s640/blogger-image--1922091246.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEqcXtU62CtXOKcTh8Pmr50BUGTiicV9vMapAMeBzM9tZGkonQ9O72ZeKmhEd20KJuZdscPjs-9Kd-Hd028J9zG2heMhaPRxQavy3N5gQn50Xx0XFc0PF-2VVRFBgEB1gnLczsNK4ZUBoR/s640/blogger-image--1922091246.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-40877095818467340382014-02-20T23:14:00.000-08:002014-02-21T00:19:36.946-08:00Interview<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Lots of changes happening in our household right now. My husband is switching careers and will be starting with the railroad on the 3rd. Unfortunately, he has to take a pay cut in order to get his foot in the door. It's a significant cut so that means that Momma has to get a job!<br /><br />I have enjoyed my 7 years at home with my boys and I really don't want to return to work just yet. Our plan was for me to return when our youngest is in school full time. However, this opportunity came up and we jumped on it. <br /><br />I had an interview today with a local credit union which meant I had to miss weigh in, I will weigh in tomorrow. My mom and I went shopping last night for a new shirt. I had pants (which are getting big on me!), I just wanted something new for the interview. I found this cute polka dot top on clearance at Kohl's. I was pleased to see that all of the 2x shirts were too large now and so the one I bought was a 1x (and I almost think I could've gotten away with a XL). That was a good feeling! Maybe someday soon I'll be able to shop in the cute clothes section, where everything doesn't look old ladyish?! <br /><br />I felt good going into the interview. I got the boys situated and then got to the CU early. The interview was with the HR gal that I'd had a phone interview with and then the branch manager and assistant branch manager. It was a little intimidating having three people in there. I think it went ok but I really have no idea! The hours aren't totally ideal but they will work. I should hear back by next Friday at the latest. </div>

To celebrate Jim's new job we decided to go to Red.Robin for dinner. I had a hard time choosing from the menu because we don't go there that often. I'm definitely more comfortable at Chili's. ;) However, I do like that they offer the "lettuce wrap it" option to their burgers. So I got the Simply Grilled Chicken burger without the bun. I ate my steak fries and also enjoyed a beer. I calculated it all on their website and it was a total of 18 PP, not too shabby for all of that! I am still full!<br />

I am extremely nervous and stressed out about becoming a (PT) working Mom. I was telling my BFF that I think that the stress of all of this might be helping my weight loss?! I'm afraid I won't be able to balance it all. Switching jobs and/or finding jobs is so much harder when you have kids! The idea of daycare makes me nervous. But juggling it all is what has me stressed out!!! Any advice from my working mom friends would be incredibly appreciated!Kellyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11043826649394800785noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787057700426083651.post-63330429409221177522014-02-19T10:34:00.002-08:002014-02-19T10:34:54.247-08:00BBM Challenge HALF WAY Mark! 3rd Fit testToday marks our half way mark with the BBM Challenge.
