Weekly weigh in

Starting Weight: 237
Last Week: 224
This Week: 220.4
Weekly Loss: 3.6
Total Loss: –16.6

FINALLY!!!!  I love seeing 220, happy birthday to me (tomorrow)!!!  It feels good to get over that 222 hump that I saw for 5 + weeks.  Now I'm hoping that my workout today and my 5K on Sat and 5K on Sun will help me get even farther down so I can reach my next goal.  If I don't make it, no biggie but it would be awesome to do so!  Off to get Z to school and do the last day of week 4.  I'll be back and let you know how it went.

C25K W4 D2

I survived my hair appointment, Ryan got a little restless but nothing too major.

My friend called me this morning and told me she wasn't going to Working Woman Wednesday.  I was relieved because it made my decision for me...I would work out.

I gave the boys an early bath and loaded them up.  I forgot to mention that I mapped out a new (old) route for the rest of my weeks.  The route I normally takes has smallish hills and even though they are small they still seem hard.  So I am going a flat route and it works great.

It is much more enjoyable by myself or just one child.  The fighting gets really old but we made it.  It felt good too!  The second 5 min run wasn't as bad as Monday's. I look forward to Friday already!

Busy day

I made an appointment to get my haircut this morning while Zack is at school.  I'm not sure what I was thinking, Ryan is not going to have fun which means Mommy will be stressed out!  I normally look forward to hair cuts, today...not so much.  We'll see how it goes.

That also means that I won't be able to get my work out in this morning.  Blech!  I like working out in the AM now because then I have the whole rest of my day to do whatever I want/need to.

I agreed to go to a vendor fair to help support a friend.  I completely forgot about it until yesterday.  I'm hoping I'll be able to go to it and still have time to come home and do my work out.  If push comes to shove I can finish it on the treadmill but I'm nervous about that.  I haven't done it on there yet but I think I'd get bored and give up more quickly.  I like being outside because I have focus points (I can make it to that house/street/etc).

I'll let you know how our day unfolds.  Have a good one!

Oh, forgot to tell ya...saw 222 on the scale again this morning!!!!  It (or smaller numbers) better stick around until Friday!

C25K W4 D1

I DID IT!!!  I woke up and was dreading this, worse than last weeks workout!  The thought of jogging for five minutes straight, not just once but twice, scared the crap out of me!  But I did it and it feels great!  The first 5 min jog was brutal.  I looked at my stop watch at 3 min and though for sure I’d been going for 5 already.  I pushed on and jogged more only to look and see that it’d only been 4:15, 45 more seconds.  Which to some people doesn’t seem like long but for someone who’s not a runner it seems like forever!  But once I finished it I was so proud, I literally said, “I did it” aloud!  I was expecting a yay from Ryan but he was OUT!

After the 5 min jog, the 3 min one seemed like a piece of cake.  I knew I had one more 5 min jog and I went into it with a I think I can attitude and did it.  Again, the first 3 min were ok but the last two were hard.  I did like that there was less walking time this week.  I’ll probably regret that later though!  Smile

Here is how I keep track of the walk and jog schedule.

C25K Week 3:Done

image

I finished week 3 of C25K!  It felt good.  I don’t understand it.  When I would walk before I started this program my pace was around 17 min/mi but today it is 20?  image

I’m looking forward to starting week 4 but a little nervous.  Jogging for 5 minutes?!  Lord help me!

GAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!  I am SOOO frustrated pissed!  I know that muscle weighs more than fat but seriously, I can not be gaining that much muscle!  This body still has A LOT of fat on it!  I appreciate the fact that my clothes are getting baggier but when does it start reflecting on the scale?

I really want to know what I’m doing wrong or what I should do instead.  I like the encouraging words and it does keep me going but I need help!

I can see how people get discouraged, I’ve been there before.  But honestly I’m doing WAY more than I have in the past so I would expect to see the pay off quicker than I am.

It looks as though Ryan is done nursing, I’m interested to see if that will make a difference in my weight loss.  Today is only day 2 so I can’t imagine it’s already reflecting.

I’m wondering if I’m not getting enough calories?  I am going to log my points and see if that is the problem.  Today was a bad day to start but I’m doing it.
