Space and cleansing

Dear skinny Jr High dance girl next to me at Zumba,

You really pissed me off tonight!  You are lucky that I didn't knock you out with my big hips or toning sticks! Give me some freaking space so that I can actually extend my arms or move for that fact.  Good for you for being able to bounce around and do the splits, I don't care!  All I ask is for you and your little snotty friend to move over or up a little so that I can actually workout without worrying about if I'm going to run you over or hit you.  On second thought, maybe I should just do that?!  I'm more than twice your size so I'm sure it won't feel good.  So, how about you give me some freaking space.  Ok?  Ok!


Good God, the girl was driving me nuts tonight.  It threw my whole workout off.  The girl comes with her mom who stands behind her.  Why can't she tell her to move up a bit so we all have more space?  Why can't the other girl go back to where her mom is working out?!  As if their skinny little bodies aren't enough to piss me off, they have to go and mess up my freaking work out (I'm the one that needs it, not them)?  bitches!


So, on another note...my first cleanse day is tomorrow.  It was supposed to be Thursday but since that's a Zum.ba day, I switched it to Wednesday.  I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous!  It consists of four 4 oz drinks and eating 6 almonds, an apple or celery every 2-3 hours.  I plan on going to bed early to try to avoid late night cravings.  Wish me luck!

So far the program has been going pretty well.  The first day was rough but thankfully my mom came over to stay the weekend.  She helped me keep on track which is just what I needed.  I weighed myself on Saturday morning and was surprised to see that I was down 1.6 lbs!  Then we went to Mongolian for dinner that night and I'm sure I gained it all back.  LOL  I over ate and knew it as soon as I started my second plate.  I still struggle with cravings a bit.  I've snacked on girl.scout cookies and probably shouldn't have.  Today I mixed it up and decided to eat a lunch and have a bar for dinner since I was going to Zum.ba.  I think I needed the extra calories at dinnertime because when I got home from Zum.ba I was starving.  I had a beer, some turkey pepperonis and a string cheese but it didn't do anything.  Grr.  I've noticed that come 11pm or so, I'm tired and ready for bed.  I've been having a cup of coffee in the morning before breakfast but probably could do without it, I think it's more out of habit.  I'm looking forward to seeing what the scale says on Friday.

  1. Well, that's annoying! I had a lady in front of me last week that did everything backwards. I finally moved up next to her so I could not see her. I still have to follow the instructor very closely, so having her do things backward does not help.

    Good job on the cleanse! I am proud of you! It's a hard thing to do!
