I have tons to do around here all of which includes sewing gifts for upcoming babies, cleaning my messy house and taking down Christmas décor. However, I opted to go for a run while Ryan was napping. Or so I thought. I got my gear on, plugged in the treadmill and hopped on. I did my 5 min warm up walk and then after that was done I increased my speed for my jog. I lasted FIVE minutes. That’s it! I was at a road block and couldn’t jog anymore. I didn’t have my laptop in front of me, just the wall. So I’m not sure if that’s why I couldn’t keep going or the thought of all the sewing that needs to be done beside me. So I slowed it back down and did a power walk with hand weights. Lame. I still burned 300 calories but I was looking forward to a nice jog. Maybe I should restart the C25K?

Just remember that a 30 minute power walk is better than nothing any day! I'd say just keep trying -- shoot for 8 minutes of running next time. Once you're back in a routine I think you'll be able to get back to where you were!
