Yesterday I did have a major freak out and break down. I honestly didn't think a 2 lb gain in one week was possible with my efforts, I just didn't understand it. So before getting in the shower today, several hours after waking, I got on the scale again and gladly saw 235.4 lbs. That makes it a .6 lb loss. I will take that! I think it's a bit more realistic than the 2 lb gain. It might have been more if I had weighed in once I woke up but I didn't think about it.
I've thought about my efforts and am proud of myself for what I've done, especially while my husband's been home. I am going to focus more on adding more protein and having two small snacks in between meals in addition to portion control to see if that helps. Once I get back on track with that then I'm going to try my best at cutting out the bad carbs and just stick to meat, veggies and fruits.
